The Miami Heat and Andre Iguodala can continue a very good streak going this season if they get past the Boston Celtics and make it to the NBA Finals. This season was tumultuous for Iguodala, who refused to play for the Memphis Grizzlies and got traded to the Miami Heat on trade deadline.
Iggy has been very helpful for the Heat, taking their game to the next level, becoming another mentor for their young players.
It looks like this move was meant to happen since Iguodala and the Heat are part of an interesting streak that can continue this year. Either Iggy or the Heat have played in the NBA Finals for the last nine years.
Miami made it to the Finals four straight years with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, winning two titles from 2010 through 2014. After that Heat dynasty was stopped by Kawhi Leonard, the Golden State Warriors took over and they had this veteran that helped them beat the Cleveland Cavaliers of LeBron in 2015.
Iguodala and the Warriors played in the last five NBA Finals, winning three titles in the process. Now things look very favorable for the Heat’s fan. Nothing can go wrong seeing the luck of Iggy and the team, but they’ll face one of the best teams in the East in the Boston Celtics, full of good players and with a great coach.
If the Heat manage to get to the Finals, the streak will continue and seeing how bright the future looks for the team, there are big chances to see this streak getting longer.
