The Milwaukee Bucks survived Sunday’s afternoon game after the Miami Heat, even when they had everything against them. It was so wild that Giannis Antetokounmpo left the game, making things worse for the Bucks. Well, they turned things around and stole a big victory from the Heat’s hands.
Throughout this series, plenty of fans have called out Mike Budenholzer for not using Giannis Antetokounmpo for more than 35 minutes per game. This is understandable, Giannis is the best player of the team and one of the best in the league but numbers show the Bucks have been a lot better without him against the Miami Heat. While Giannis has been on the court, the Bucks have been outscored by the Heat by over 30 points.
“The Bucks are outscored by 34 points when Giannis is on the court in three games vs the Heat. That -34 +/- is the worst by any player on the Bucks,” tweeted Statsmuse.

We saw a big sample of this yesterday when Giannis went down with an injury in the first half of Game 4. The Greek Freak left the game and just when everybody thought that was it for the Bucks, they told otherwise, forced an OT and then beat the Heat, thanks to Khris Middleton, Donta DiVincenzo, George Hill and the rest of the team. Milwaukee now has another chance to beat Miami and put the series 3-2.
They can’t lose any more games and even though numbers tell something different, this team will prefer to have his star healthy than playing without him.
