The physique of a Hamilton man needed for being a part of successful crew concerned in two Ontario gangland murders in 2017 has been found in Mexico.
The lifeless physique of Michael Graham Cudmore, 39, was found in a ditched automotive on the aspect of a highway in rural Mexico on the finish of June, Hamilton police stated on Wednesday.
Cudmore is the second Ontario man tied to the murders of Hamilton mobster Angelo Musitano and Mila Barbera, a Vaughan veterinary assistant, to be found dead in Mexico.
“Members of the multi-jurisdictional task force, which was formed to solve the two murders, have received limited information from the Canadian Embassy or Mexican authorities surrounding the circumstances of Cudmore’s death,” Hamilton police stated in a media launch. “What has been learnt is that his body was recovered in a vehicle which was abandoned at the side of a rural road.”
Police earlier stated that Cudmore went to Mexico in an try to attach with York Region underworld determine Daniele Ranieri, whose physique was found in a ditch in Cancun, in March 2018.
Ranieri was thought of a “person of interest” in the Angelo Musitano and Barberi murders, Hamilton police say.
Hamilton police say that Cudmore’s household has not heard from him since he fled to Mexico in May 2017.
Barberi, 28, was shot dead on March 14, 2017 as she sat in an SUV parked on Caster Avenue, in an industrial space in the Highway 7 and Weston Road space in Woodbridge together with her 40-year-old boyfriend, who suffered minor accidents.
Police have speculated that she was an harmless sufferer and her boyfriend was the meant goal.
Musitano, 39, was murdered in the driveway of his Waterdown house on May 2, 2017. His older brother Pasquale (Pat) was murdered in July in a Burlington parking zone.
No arrest has been made in that homicide.
Investigators have been probing Cudmore as one among three suspects because the killers in the Barberi and Angelo Musitano assaults.
Police haven’t publicly stated who they suppose employed the trio to do the murders.
Suspect Daniel Mario Tomassetti, 29, of Ancaster, fled to Mexico in January 2018 whereas Cudmore escaped to Mexico after the Musitano homicide.
Suspect Jabril Hassan Abdalla of Hamilton had been in custody in Canada since his arrest in Sept. 2018 on fees of first-degree homicide in each the Angelo Musitano and Barberi killings.
No trial date has been set for Abdalla. Tomassetti has not been situated however continues to be believed by police to be in Mexico.
There is an Interpol warrant out for his arrest.
